What Kate Did

Blogging in haste…but I just have to say, what an awesome episode!  Now that the two groups are united (more or less), it seems like we can really get down to the business of what the heck is going on…or not.  The missing film, found in a Bible and handed over ceremoniously to Locke by Mr. Ecko…the mysterious horse in the jungle, seen by Sawyer too, so Kate’s not crazy!...and all the revelations about Kate’s past, including the fact that “what she did” was to murder her mother’s husband, not because he was abusive and horrible, but because she had found out that he was her real father and she was so disgusted with that fact.  We got to see her initial capture by our (un)friendly U.S. Marshall, and her first escape from him, as well.  We got to see her dad/not dad, a military man, who unfortunately felt he had to turn her in, but let her get a head start.  

This episode was so unbelievably rich and dense, and so much happened, I can’t even begin to talk about it all yet.  But all I have to say is – “Dad?”
